This summer PayPal is launching a brand new search function in www.paypal.co.uk/offers. This search will allow your potential buyers to find and compare products from online retailers who accept PayPal.

Upgrade to Pro
If you'd like to take advantage of the new PayPal search facility, you will need an Express Checkout shopping cart, which comes with Mr Site's Takeaway Website Pro. To upgrade your package, log into your Mr Site account and look for the Upgrade your Package link under the Mr Site Logo.

New Security Measures
We will no longer be giving out passwords over the phone unless you satisfy Mr Site's increased security procedures. Similar to telephone banking, we will ask you some questions, you will then need to provide us with the correct answer(s) so remember to keep your personal details fully up to date (log in, go to option 5 Extra's, then option 3 Admin, then Option G Personal Details)

The Mr Site Team have now introduced horizontal menus into all of their templates. Mr Site users can change their menu position by clicking on Option 1 in the Main Options Page.

On Tuesday, more than 100 people gathered for the launch event of 'Roots to Business Success', a joint project recently created by Mr Site, the UK's favourite DIY website creator, and PayPal.

The event kicked off with PayPal speakers Cameron McLean, General Manager, PayPal Merchant Services and John-Paul Savant, Director of Product and Strategy, PayPal UK, discussing 'Taking Your Web Presence to the Next Level Using Online Payments.' During this segment, the audience learned about the different types of PayPal products available to businesses, how to increase the percentage of customers who successfully check out and purchase an item from their website, and how to optimise their checkout.

Stuart delivers point 4 of Top Ten Tips for Web Success

Stuart Spice, Co-Founder and Director of Mr Site Ltd, then took to the stage to share his 'Top Ten Tips for Web Success.' These insights summarised all the do's and don'ts a good website owner should stick to in order to create an effective website.

Levi Delivers his speech

The final speaker of the afternoon was Levi Roots, Dragon's Den Slayer and creator of Reggae Reggae Sauce.

Levi spent an hour sharing the secrets to his considerable business success and advising the audience on how to get a great business idea off the ground. His inspirational talk hit exactly the right note with the audience as many of them were start up businesses. Levi even sang his way through parts of his talk and yes, he did the Reggae Reggae Sauce song!

What we like about this Mr Siter is that each page is visually rich and interesting. Though all the products sold at Olive and Moss are cool and quirky, the overall design and layout of the site is clear, straight-forward, functions well and easy to navigate around. The whole site functions really well, the content is fresh and updated often.

Roots to Business Success
Over the next year, exclusive user seminars will be taking place at locations throughout the UK and EIRE - and you're all invited to the first event, 'Roots to Business Success' at PayPal's HQ, June 17th, 2008 from 2-6pm. Speakers will include Dragon's Den Slayer, Levi Roots (pictured), Stuart Spice, Mr Site co-founder and Cameron Mclean, Head of Merchant Services, PayPal.

New Book - All profits to the Princes Trust
We're constantly surprised by how much Mr Site knowledge you, our valued users, have acquired over the years and think it a shame not to share such insights with the rest of the world, so we're publishing a book. The working title is 'Mr Site Revealed'. All profits from the book will go to The Princes Trust and the content will be generated entirely by you, the user. So, if you have any tips, tricks, shortcuts or anything you know would prove useful to others, please complete the application form here and email it to book@mrsite.co.uk. This month, WoTM comes from two of our many charity and fund-raising customers. Created by friends, Dominic Jones and Hamish Reid, you've probably guessed from the name these legends are crawling and swimming (across the Channel this summer) in order to raise £15,000 for the Arthur Rank House and Katherine House Hospices and Caner Research. What we like about this is how regularly both the content and images are kept up to date. Also, we've never seen blisters quite as large as these ones sustained during the 'Big Crawl'. If you have Mr Site Pro, you can now resize, crop, rotate and colourise any image on your website using our new Image Editor You can now have up to 3 images per item on your Mr Site Pro Express Checkout online shop. We've also added a new style and layout for both the standard and pro online shops. We'll be adding 3 more website designs over the next few weeks, so look out for them. With this handy new tool, you will be able to crop, shrink or enlarge your images with just a few quick clicks of your mouse. You’ll also be able to adjust the brightness, contrast and Red, Green and Blue levels. Keep an eye out for it under Option 5 -> Personalise..

April's WoTM comes from one of our Australian customers. We like this site because everything works so well. The shopping cart is especially well-thought out, laid out and easy to use. It all works perfectly and even though we’ve tried really hard to find fault, there’s no way we can improve on this. Even though Funky Printing has loads of different aspects to their business, this site is still really easy to navigate.

April Tips and Tricks
Did you know that the position of your menu is not fixed with Mr Site. You can swap it from the left to the right of the layout and you can also change the appearance of the buttons themselves. To do this, go to Option 1, reselect your chosen page design and all the options will then become available to you. This is the same for all Mr Site customers whether you’re Standard or Pro, or you’ve been with us for 1 month or 3 years.
