Mr Site interviews Sara Pike

Creator of Storm-Island.com

"My experience of Mr Site was quite positive - it was quick and simple to use with comprehensive instructions." Sara Pike Within Storm Island you will discover handcrafted cards, albums, bags, wall-hangings, jewellery, and gifts, as well as one off pieces of art work, and much more. Storm Island's story began with Sara, an artist and textile designer from the Channel Islands with a love of nature and a fascination with its powers. After gaining a masters degree in the subject, she could do nothing but create beautiful, unique, handcrafted ‘storm stuff' to bring her thoughts, designs and ideas to life, and Storm Island's book was opened...

Inspired by the ocean, and made from a wide range of materials - from discarded shells to beautiful fabrics and handmade papers. Unique beach finds and little pieces of nature are often included - hand collected, reclaimed and recycled - crafted by the storm, created by the ocean's movement, and inspired by the colours and shapes of marine life, Storm Island aims to bring you your own little piece of nature.

"My experience of Mr Site was quite positive - it was quick and simple to use with comprehensive instructions. I was able to get www.storm-island.com up and running within a couple of days, and the areas which I needed help with were quickly sorted out by the Mr Site support team. Later on I also referred to the info area in the help section and was able to solve issues on my own. I found that the best thing about using Mr Site over using a programmer was that I can access the site at any time and change images as well as add in any new features to Storm Island regularly- this keeps people interested in what I am doing. I have also been impressed with the improvements made to the system since I started using it and hope that the good work continues!"
